20 levers to make an offer irresistible
Offering 20% lifetime recurring is a solid base, but it is standard. The best affiliates are spoilt for choice and they compare. If they hesitate between you and a competitor at 40%, they will go elsewhere.
A professional affiliate does not buy a rate, they buy an EPC and cash flow. That is why six of these 20 levers do not touch the percentage at all: they play on framing, cookie duration, payout speed, tracking quality, supplied pages and granted status. That is where the trade-offs are won — and it is far cheaper than raising your commission.

The combo that wins the trade-off
You do not need all of them. Facing a competitor advertising a higher rate, four levers are almost always enough to tip the decision — and none of them costs you a point of commission: LTV framing, the 365-day cookie, free access, and supplied capture pages.
